PBS is a globally recognized engineering brand with more than two centuries of history. The company specializes in manufacturing turbine engines, APUs, and ECS systems designed for a range of applications, including unmanned aerial vehicles, medium helicopters, and trainer aircraft. PBS is also a supplier of cryogenic equipment to the world's largest manufacturers of gas liquefaction systems. PBS foundry is one of Europe's leading suppliers of nickel and cobalt-based superalloy castings.
The PBS TJ100 engines stand out with their compact design and lightweight, providing a thrust of up to 1,250 N. They are a single-shaft small jet engines that include a radial compressor, radial and axial diffuser, annular combustion chamber, axial turbine, and fixed outlet nozzle. The engines generate 750 W of power through its integrated generator, and one of the versions enables water landing.
The PBS TJ80 engines are compact sub-sonic jet engines specifically designed for UAV systems, including target drones, remote carriers, unmanned combat systems, and other disposable aircraft. They feature excellent thrust-to-weight ratio, with a thrust of 900 – 1,200 N and a weight of 12.5 – 13 kg. They are a single-shaft turbojet engine equipped with BLDC starter-generator, electric fuel pump and electronic control system. They are lubricated with a fuel-oil mixture, and they generate 650 W of power through their integrated generator. The engines may be customised by adjusting the length of the exhaust pipe.
